The Verdouble is a wild river which cut the rock of the Devèze cliffs between Tautavel and Vingrau. These spectacular gorges, overlooked by the cave of Arago, the famous cave where the skeleton of the Tautavel Man was found, invite you to climb or contemplate.

The white rock plunging into these crystal clear waters offers a sumptuous landscape where the rarest raptors dominate the sky. Surrounded by vines, in flamboyant colors in autumn, this natural site in the heart of the Corbières is worth the detour!
